How an online escape room works
-
Pick a room
Choose a room and start it on playsuperglue.com. Free rooms start right away; the rest come with Plus.
-
Send one link
Drop the link in your call or calendar invite. Players open it in a browser and type a name.
-
Escape together
Everyone explores on their own screen and talks on the call. Hints are built in, and nobody escapes alone.
A virtual escape room that feels like a real one
Everyone plays, nobody watches
No one shares their screen while the rest look on. Each player moves around the room, opens things and finds clues on their own screen.
Co-op, not a race
Many team escape rooms pit groups against each other. Ours are built so no puzzle can be solved by one person: the group wins or loses together.
Works on any call
The game runs in the browser and the talking happens on your call, whether that is Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Discord.
Run it yourself, or we host it
Most groups just send the link and play. For a party or a big group, a game master runs the room for you.
Send one link. Play right away.
Start a game on playsuperglue.com and share the link on your call. Everyone plays on their own screen, and hints are built into the games.

Online escape room questions
Is there a free online escape room?
Yes. Marvelli's Last Show (2–8 players, about 90 min) and Escape Your Office (2–10 players, about 20 min) are free. The organiser starts one with a free Superglue account and everyone else joins from the link. See free online escape room.
What is the difference between an online and a virtual escape room?
Nothing: both mean an escape room you play over the internet instead of in a building. Superglue rooms are real games, not a slideshow or a Google Form. Everyone moves around the room on their own screen and you solve the puzzles together on your call.
How many players can play?
Most rooms take 2–8 players; Escape Your Office takes 2–10, Backrooms Escape and Mind the Generation Gap take 3–10, and Rise of the Mad Pharaoh works from a single player up to 8. For a bigger group, run several rooms at the same time. The Team plan runs up to 5 rooms at once, and a game master can host each room.
How long does an online escape room take?
About 20 minutes for Escape Your Office; about 60 minutes for Backrooms Escape, Ronin Realm, Spirit Speak, Supernova, Mind the Generation Gap and Rise of the Mad Pharaoh; about 90 minutes for Marvelli’s Last Show, North Pole Night Shift and The Last Human Office.
Can we get an escape room of our own office?
Yes. Send us photos of two or three rooms at work and we build a private escape room from them, with your team in the clues: $499 one-off, including 12 months of unlimited play. See custom escape room.
Do we need Zoom, Teams or a download?
No download. The rooms run in the browser on a laptop or desktop computer. Talk on whatever call you already use: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord or a phone call.
Can we play on phones or tablets?
Not the escape rooms: they need a laptop or desktop computer. For phones, try the party games Consensus or ALIGNED.
Can someone host the escape room for us?
Yes. A Superglue game master joins your call, runs the room and keeps things moving: $199 per room, about 90 minutes, up to 10 players. Book a game master.
What does it cost?
Marvelli's Last Show and Escape Your Office are free. Every room is included in Plus: $9 a month or $79 a year for all 21 games. You can also play a single room once for $30.
Try one tonight, free.
Marvelli's Last Show is free for 2–8 players. When you want more, Plus unlocks every room for $9 a month.
