About Sync Squad
Each player drives one colored robot through a floating test chamber. The exit only opens when every robot stands on its matching goal at the same moment.
Every hazard is keyed to a color, so the thing that vaporizes your teammate is harmless to you. You cannot just play your own robot: you describe what you see, warn each other and agree who moves next. There is no timer and nothing twitchy, so it is easy to hand to people who never play games, and later chambers keep a practiced squad arguing happily for twenty minutes.
How to play Sync Squad
-
Start a squad
Pick a squad size from two to six, create a room and share the five-letter code.
-
Take a color
Drive your robot with WASD or the arrow keys, and swing the camera around to read the chamber first.
-
Say it out loud
Your own color never hurts you; another color can end your run. Call out dangers and ping tiles when pointing is faster.
-
Land on every goal at once
A chamber clears when all robots sit on their goals together. Press R for an instant restart and try the next idea.
