About Holloway

You step in through a lamplit study, and the keeper of the door opens a hallway that was not there a moment ago. Beyond it is a dark, shifting labyrinth. Glowing sigils sit deep in the maze, and none of them will lift for one player alone.

So you split up, call to each other across the walls and keep talking. About once a minute the house rearranges itself, and the map in your head is wrong again. Every run is different, there are no jump scares, and there is no way to lose a player.

How to play Holloway

1. Gather in the study

   Pick a name and step inside. Play over a voice call, because the whole game is people talking to each other.

2. Explore in pairs

   Move with WASD and look with the mouse. Sigils only lift for two explorers together, so head into the dark in twos.

3. Mark your way

   There is no minimap. Drop glowing way-lights with Q and fire a flare with F to call the others to you.

4. Seal the door

   Carry each sigil back and set it into the great seal. When the last one drops in, the whole group walks out together.
