About Boxing Day Never Comes
You are the new neighbours from No. 14, invited round to the Hartleys’ for Christmas dinner. Then the crackers bang, and it is 7 a.m. again. The family does not notice the loop. Your group does, and only your group can break it before the day repeats forever.
Each loop the house changes a little more, and whatever you found last time is gone. The one thing that carries over is the fridge, where your team pins its notes. Players split up across the lounge, the kitchen and the attic, say what they see and work it out together on the call.
The mood is a cozy family Christmas with a dose of 2016 nostalgia: paper chains, patterned carpets, a sold-out toy and a gran who writes everything in fountain pen. No horror and no outside knowledge needed. It suits office parties and family calls alike.
How to play Boxing Day Never Comes
-
Come round for dinner
Everyone opens the session link and types a name. Nothing to install. Keep a video call running next to the game.
-
Look around in 360°
Drag to look in any direction. A glowing marker shows anything you can open. Walk between rooms through the doorways.
-
Pin it to the fridge
The fridge board is a shared note board for the whole team, and the only thing in the house that survives the reset.
-
Beat three o’clock
Some moments need several of you at once. The host can send a nudge if you get stuck. About 60 minutes in all.
