About Escape Your Office

SENTINEL, the brand-new security bot, takes the missing cake badly. It locks every door on the floor and starts a surprise audit. Nobody goes home for the weekend until the audit passes.

Your team spreads out over three rooms you can look around in 360°: the open office, the boardroom and the kitchen. The clues are spread over the floor, so people split up, say out loud what they see and piece it together on the call. Anyone can open anything, and everyone sees the same game.

The tone is light office comedy: sticky notes, voicemails from colleagues and a bot that takes cake very seriously. A run takes about 20 minutes, so it fits at the start of a meeting or works as a first game for a team that has never played one. It is also a quick way to check that everyone in your group can connect before a longer session.

We built the three rooms from phone photos of a real office. We can build one from photos of yours.

How to play Escape Your Office

  1. Join the call and the game

    Everyone opens the session link in a browser and types a name. There is nothing to install. Keep your video call open next to the game window.

  2. Look around

    Drag to look around each room in 360°. Orange glows are things you can use, white glows are documents to read and purple glows are doors.

  3. Split up and report back

    Anyone can open anything, and everyone sees the same state. Spread out over the rooms and say what you find.

  4. Some moments need the team

    A few steps cannot be done by one person. Agree on a plan, then act together.

  5. Get home for the weekend

    Each lock has hints if you get stuck, and a host can give a nudge. A run takes about 20 minutes and ends with a team scorecard.
