About Consensus

Six dilemmas, no right answers. Each round puts one opinionated question on every phone, with four options and a pot of points. An option only passes with a strict majority. Fall short and nobody scores.

Before anyone speaks, every player gets a private agenda: one option that pays them a bonus if the group picks it. No option ever starts with a natural majority, so the room has to talk. Promises and lies are both legal, and after every round all votes and agendas go up on screen.

How to play Consensus

  1. Open a room

The host creates a room and reads out the four-letter code. Everyone joins on their own phone.

  2. Read the dilemma and your agenda

Everyone sees the same question and options. Only you see which option pays you a bonus.

  3. Talk it out

Argue out loud, in the room or on the call. Nothing said is binding, and the game does not referee.

  4. Vote and reveal

Votes are secret until the timer stops. Winners split the pot, deadlocks roll it forward, and then every agenda is revealed.
