Boxing Day Never Comes

4–10 players · ~60 min

Christmas Day, 2016, at the Hartleys’ house. Every time the crackers bang at 3 p.m., the day snaps back to 7 a.m., and only your group notices. The rooms reset each loop. The notes your team pins to the fridge do not.

Warm and funny, with paper chains, patterned carpets and a sold-out toy. About an hour for 4–10 players per room.

All 21 games for $9/month (see plans) or play once for $30. A game master hosts for $199 per room.

Cozy and gently funny, with a cocoa machine that has opinions. About 90 minutes for 2–8 players per room.

All 21 games for $9/month (see plans) or play once for $30. A game master hosts for $199 per room.

Christmas escape room questions

Is there an online Christmas escape room for groups?

Yes, two. Boxing Day Never Comes is a time loop at a family Christmas dinner, for 4–10 players. North Pole Night Shift puts your group on the night shift in Santa’s workshop, for 2–8 players. Both play in the browser over a video call.

Which one should we pick?

Boxing Day Never Comes is the shorter one, about an hour, and suits groups of 4 to 10 who like to talk things through. North Pole Night Shift runs about 90 minutes for 2 to 8 players. Both are cozy, and neither has anything scary in it. Many teams play one this year and save the other for next.

Is it good for an office Christmas party?

Yes. Both rooms are warm and funny rather than spooky, work for people who never play games, and everyone joins from a link on their own laptop. For a bigger party, run several rooms at once with the Team plan (up to 5 rooms), or book a game master for $199 per room.

Can families play?

Yes. Nothing is scary and nobody is evil. Each player needs a laptop or desktop computer, so the rooms suit families spread across different homes on a call.

What does it cost?

Boxing Day Never Comes is included in Plus, or $30 to play once. North Pole Night Shift is included in Plus, or $30 to play once. Plus is $9 a month for every game, and a game master hosts a room for $199.
