About North Pole Night Shift

An elf installed the SleighOS update a day early and tripped the Holiday Shutdown Protocol: every department locked, the lights went out and the toy line fell asleep. Santa cannot be woken. You have until the midnight inspection to bring the workshop back online and get the sleigh ready to fly.

Your group explores five candlelit rooms in full 360°, from the workshop floor and the mail room to Mrs. Claus’s kitchen, the reindeer stables and the sleigh bay. What one person needs is usually written down where someone else is standing, and a few moments need more than one pair of hands at once.

The mood is cozy and gently funny: elf paperwork, sticky-note memos from Management and a cocoa machine named Gerald who has opinions. Nothing jumps out at you. It works for office parties and family calls alike, including players who never touch video games.

How to play North Pole Night Shift

  1. Clock in

Everyone opens the session link and types a name. Nothing to install. Keep a video call running next to the game.

  2. Look around in 360°

Drag to look in any direction. A warm glow marks anything you can open, from a punch clock to an oven.

  3. Work the stations together

Puzzles open as panels the whole group shares. Take a room each or crowd one station, and call out what you find.

  4. Prep the sleigh

Hints get more direct the more you ask, with no penalty for wrong guesses. Five stages, about 90 minutes, and the last one needs everyone.
